Facilities and Maintenance Assistant

Here at Brasenose College, we have an exciting opportunity to join our friendly College Maintenance Team, we are looking to recruit a Facilities & Maintenance Assistant. The role is offered as a full-time, permanent contract, working 39 hours per week, 8am – 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am – 4pm on Friday, with an unpaid hour for lunch. The post holder is responsible for providing a consistent standard of care and upkeep of all College properties. This includes but is not limited to maintenance work such as furniture repair, decorating, and carrying out manual handling tasks such as moving furniture and room set ups. For this reason, experience with general maintenance and carpentry is essential. The role will report into the Workshop Manager and work closely with the Maintenance Team, but it will require some working alone.
