Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 (DOE)
Role Purpose: To provide maintenance function within the Site Services Department.
Main Role Duties / Scope:
- Carry out routine functional testing of safety systems such as Fire Alarms, Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hoses and Emergency Lighting
- Carry out routine maintenance checks on site specific plant and equipment such as Compressors and Chillers.
- Carry out general repairs and maintenance to buildings and facilities as required.
- Undertake plant and equipment installation, including electrical and basic pipe fitting.
- Use Safe systems of work to prevent injury and damage to plant, machinery and equipment.
- Completion of records required for Health, Safety and Environmental purposes.
- Respond effectively to any environmental incidents and be part of emergency response team to make the plant, machinery and equipment safe.
- Maintain the relevant maintenance stores inventory.
- Ensure 5S standards are maintained including keeping own work area tidy and free from clutter.
- Log work completed on the maintenance system cards.
- Undertake training as required to fulfil role effectively.
Person Specification / Required Skills:
- Be qualified as an Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship or have a relevant Engineering Qualification
- Minimum 17th or 18th Edition Wiring regulation qualification.
- Able to work at height. MEWP experience.
- Counterbalance FLT licence preferred.
