Hours: 35 hours per week, 12 months fixed term contract

About the Role

As a Facilities and Maintenance Coordinator, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. This multifaceted role encompasses various responsibilities, including contract management, facilities operations, helpdesk management, overseeing maintenance schedules, financial administration, procurement, and team support. If you're a proactive problem-solver with expertise in facilities management, helpdesk administration, budgeting, and procurement processes, we encourage you to apply and make a significant impact on our organisation's efficiency and functionality.

 

What are we looking for?

Experience: Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.

Knowledge: Proficiency in facilities management, including maintenance scheduling, contract management, and helpdesk operations. Strong understanding of financial and administrative processes, encompassing budget management, invoice processing, and record-keeping. Familiarity with procurement procedures, including vendor sourcing, and contract administration.

Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify issues, develop effective solutions, and implement preventative measures.

Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders.

Organisation: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively.

Team Player: Collaborative attitude with a willingness to support team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.

Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle unexpected challenges with resilience.

Initiative: Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Health and safety: Good knowledge and understanding on Health and Safety management and compliance.
