About the Role

A Facilities Maintenance Electrician will be responsible for supporting non-core electrical engineering and facilities services on site. Maintaining electrical safety, integrity and compliance of site-based facilities plant, equipment and infrastructure to current regulations.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

• Routinely inspecting electrical system on plant, equipment and site infrastructure

• Install, maintain, service and fault find a wide range of electrical systems, facilities equipment and infrastructure installations across the site

• Undertake planned maintenance and repairs on equipment as required

• Liaise with contractors in the electrical maintenance of specialist systems

• Provide an integral response to any emergency incidents

• Ensure through service and maintenance electrical systems on site are safe and compliant to current regulation / legislation

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and manuals to install, calibrate and maintain electrical equipment

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

• Electrical Qualifications - Installation competence: C&G 2330/2351/2355 or C&G 236 Parts A&B or C&G 2360 Parts 1&2 or C&G 2365 Level 2&3 or 2356 NVQ with a recognised Apprenticeship With Certificate for the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS 7671: 2008 (2382- 12, 15 or 20); for 17 th or 18 th Edition Wiring Regulations Electrical Inspection and Testing:C&G 2391-10 or C&G 2394/2395
• Track record of maintenance role in a technical capacity, preferably within the FMCG sector.
• Ability to identify, cost, quote and pull through additional Minor Works
• Competence and experience of facilities and utilities services - i.e. compressed air, refrigeration, cooling towers, HVAC, Water Services, Waste Management, Electrical Services, etc.
