Facilities Manager (3-4 month Fixed Term Contract) Immediate start required

About the role

We have a great opportunity available for a fantastic, proven Facilities Manager to join our Workplace Experience team at Which?

As our Workplace Experience Leader with responsibility for our London and Cardiff offices as well as our small satellite site in Enfield, you will help us as we strive to continuously exceed the expectations of those that work with, and visit us.

This role is known internally as Workplace Experience Leader.

Key responsibilities include:

Your day to day duties will be varied from ensuring that our statutory compliance requirements are fully met, including ensuring health and safety best practice is maintained, and managing relationships and contracts with suppliers, landlords, and tenants (in our London property), ensuring that SLAs are adhered to and a high standard of service provision is achieved.

Your contribution will directly influence the well-being and motivation of our employees and guests, and as such you will be a vital part of the team supporting our customer-facing operations. 

In addition to managing supplier relationships, you will also look after a small team of support professionals. You'll encourage their development and be able to motivate them so that they excel in their roles.

About you:

We'll need to see that you have proven experience in a similar facilities management role, and ideally you have managed multiple sites previously and are comfortable working with a small, close-knit team.

You will have exceptional interpersonal skills and will be adept at forging excellent working relationships with those around you including suppliers and key stakeholders within the business. especially at a time when the workplace and how people work is evolving.

You will be assertive when holding suppliers to account and will be confident on occasions when you may need to say ‘no' to the business.

Naturally, you will be driven to ensure that our facilities meet high standards at all times. You will hold IWFM Level 4 and/or NEBOSH qualifications as well, being experienced in health and safety and DSE assessments.

This role will require you to travel to our office in Cardiff (on a monthly basis) and occasionally visit our site in Enfield.

Our interview process usually involves 2 stages:

• Sometimes a chat with a recruiter or hiring manager by phone (typically 30 minutes), followed by
• An interview on Google Meet (approximately 45-90 minutes) consisting of values and experience-based competency questions and a role related task on a laptop
