The FA are excited to be searching for a Facilities Manager to join the Wembley Stadium team. The post holder will provide support to the Hard and Soft FM / Property team at Wembley Stadium, providing effective contractual and operational management of the onsite FM services providers.
You will ensure supply partners QHSE compliance through joint audits and site inspections of all plant areas and works undertaken by the FM providers. And to provide support during events both Bowl and C&B events which will require weekend / out-of-hours work.
What will you be doing?
- Assist the WNSL Operations team with event planning and delivery.
- Health & Safety compliance including audits, risk management and reporting.
- Implement and monitor minor FM works.
- Energy management including managing FM Provider (M&E) and Soft Service providers.
- Assist in monitoring the building's plant, equipment and forward works register.
- Control of planned maintenance & building management systems
- To provide administrative support as required.
- Assist in the coordination of WNSL FM sub-contractor management and undertake audits of the permit-to-work system.
- Undertake 10% monthly compliance audits to ensure Statutory compliance and PPM completion.
- Assist with Health & Safety issues in support of the FA QHSE team.
- Drive innovation and best practices across the WNSL site.
- Support the wider FA delivery teams. as required by the Head of FM to deliver events.
- Executes additional tasks as required in order to meet FA Group's changing priorities.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of health, safety and well-being can be maintained.
- As part of The FA's commitment to ensuring a safe environment for everyone in football, every employee will be required to complete a DBS check. The level of the check required will be based on the activity of the specific job role and in line with legislation and government guidance.
What are we looking for?
Essential for the role:
- Experience of working in a high-level corporate environment.
- Demonstrable contractor and vendor management skills and experience.
- Ability to deliver outstanding client services personally and through internal and external teams.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Experience in writing timely management reports.
- Relevant experience or qualification (ONC/HNC/BICS)
- Proficient skills in Microsoft Office.
- Health and Safety qualification IOSH/NEBOSH.
Beneficial to have:
- Experience working in an events, sports or exhibition venue.
- Working knowledge of CAFM systems.
- Soft and Hard services background.
- Experience in other TFM contracts.
