Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our company's premises across multiple sites in Chandlers Ford. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe, secure, and well-maintained environment for our staff and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out maintenance and repair work on all company premises, fixtures, and fittings to ensure they are safe and operational.
- Oversee the effective maintenance of company grounds and buildings to uphold a professional and welcoming environment.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to health, safety, and the environment, creating and implementing necessary policies and procedures.
- Maintain excellent cleanliness standards in all company premises, including offices, common areas, and outdoor spaces.
- Manage a team of 4 facilities staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Own means of transport is essential for this role to facilitate travel between sites and attend to maintenance needs as required.
- Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or similar role, preferably in a multi-site environment.
- Strong knowledge of building maintenance, repair, and safety procedures.
- Understanding of legal requirements and regulations related to health, safety, and the environment.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with staff, contractors, and management.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Full driving license and own means of transport.
