This is a varied, demanding, and interesting hands-on role, in which a highly organized and enthusiastic but methodical Facilities professional will thrive. Being pro-active, approachable, and able to structure the workload is essential, to ensure the needs of the Museum buildings and the Museum teams are met. The post-holder will need to be comfortable in working through pre-planned tasks and impromptu facilities challenges with equal composure and efficiency. The post-holder, as part of the Facilities Team will assist in delivering both hard and soft facilities management functions across the National Army Museum estate.The post-holder will have some experience in general construction and maintenance and will be integral in delivering the building, mechanical and electrical planned maintenance programme. The post-holder will act as the focal point for the day-to-day management of all health & safety, facilities related and security aspects of the Museum’s operations.
