Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll lead the Facilities & Support Services team, working alongside our many portfolio staff. You will be a member of the property leadership team playing a key role in helping to shape and influence our future across the whole portfolio. You will be part of the Duty Manager team at Knightshayes and this averages two to three days per month on a rota, full training will be provided.

What you'll be doing This role line manages a small team to deliver our Business Services and Facilities functions. Business Services offer support to all departments, signposting staff, volunteers, visitors, and contractors whilst providing specific support around banking, procurement, and records management. Our Facilities team leads on all planned preventative and reactive maintenance across the estate, working to help maintain standards as well as co-ordinating the oversight of compliance monitoring. It will lead on a number of small projects as well as being involved in larger capital works projects.It is important that you are able to form strong links with all fellow property heads of department, working collaboratively to best utilise resources and enable efficiency improvements. - an inclusive, capable & curious leader with experience of leading teams in either Support Services or facilities;
- an advocate for heritage with a good understanding of the challenges of maintaining and enhancing buildings, features and facilities in a significant heritage environment;
- someone with an eye for detail, especially in standards, health & safety management, and compliance;
- a confident communicator, who enjoys building effective and collaborative working relationships with a broad range of people – staff, volunteers, contractors, advisors & visitors; and
- organised with a track record of being a strategic problem solver and planner.
