Landmarc Support Services are currently recruiting for a Facilities Team Manager to manage the total Facilities Management at Swynnerton and surrounding sites. This is a regional role and you will be required to travel between sites in Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire and North Wales.
You will be responsible for the management and allocation of accommodation and training areas and FM services provision. This is an exciting role for anyone that has a solid foundation in the FM Industry and is looking to develop their career within a unique environment.
Main ResponsibilitiesManage facilities usage and carry out routine inspections to identify maintenance and activity requirements, in particular cleaning standards
Taking ownership of delivery plans delegated by the Built Estate Delivery Advisor and Rural Estate Delivery Advisor
Regional lead for all COSHH related Risk Assessments and associated documentation
Ensure the tasks identified across the training estate are completed as requested to the required standards
Manage accommodation/range usage bids for appropriate resources and identify shortfalls resolving with bought in services
Identify requirements for and manage delivery of accommodation, waste, stores, grounds maintenance and cleaning
Manage (where required) military accounts such as stores and POL
Manage Government Furnished Equipment accounts – Plant & Machinery, DMR Radios, Accommodation, Catering, IT
Identify and deliver reactive maintenance tasks
Manage contractors as required
Identify best practice and promote continuous improvement including environmental and sustainability best practice
To be the waste focal point for the Region
Assist with the handover/ take back of facilities with service users including providing information on ‘maximising’ the use of the facility
The Ideal CandidateKnowledge of Health and Safety such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work to IOSH Managing Safely level (NEBOSH desirable)
Previous knowledge of stores accounting (desirable)
People management experience with a proven track record in performance management
Experience in management of vehicles, equipment and plant (understanding of PEWER is desirable)
Must hold Full Valid UK Driving Licence
