This company are specialists in technical research to further develop and discover solutions for industries across the UK. Due to continued growth they are looking to expand their close-knit engineering team.
In this role you will be based in a variety of environments, from offices to research laboratories. You will be part of an Engineering team carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to the facilities, such as heating and ventilation, as well as carrying out repairs to some of the plant equipment.
The role would be perfect for someone from a mechanical engineering background, such as maintenance engineering or facilities/ building services. Experience in the industry is not required as training will be provided.
The Role:
*Based on a single site in a lab and office environment
*Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to facilities, such as steam boilers and ventilation
*Some plant maintenance
*Days based, callout 1 in 5 weeks
The Person:
*Mechanical background, such as facilities or maintenance engineering
*No qualifications required - however, HNC/ HND/ City & Guilds/ NVQ is beneficial
*Training provided
