Facility Engineer

A fantastic opportunity has risen for a Facility Engineer to join one of the best and most exciting nuclear defence projects in the UK.

• Job Title - Facility Engineer
• Location - Reading
• Contract Length - 18 Months
• Pay Rates - £58.77 hour (Inside IR35)

If you are a facility manager with a vast background in engineering and have experience in a heavily regulated field then this role is perfect for you.

Key Duties:

• Mechanical engineering with the ability to understand shortfalls and review safety/risk.
• A management approach to safety/risk and hazard mitigation
• Approve, manage and address updates to the maintenance schedule
• Documentation review and initial risk assessment production
• Handle and manage progress reports including reviews and progress meetings
• Management of the live safety cases including feedback for the client

Skills Required:

• Safety case/safety reviews/risk management/hazardous situations experience and understanding
• Engineering background
• Nuclear/defence/RAF Experience
• A demonstratable background in shortfall fixes/breakdown assessments
• Technical rather than management bias
