We are expanding the team across both our Oxford site, where our bakery is based, and our London office, where a lot of the commercial team spend their day-to-day.
On top of this, we are upgrading our production line, which will give us a bigger and better product, alongside a more efficient process.

This leadership position requires a strong and diverse knowledge of the food sector as well as a practical understanding of manufacturing. This is a pivotal role working alongside the COO and as part of the Senior Management Team.
What you’ll be doing:
Oversee all operational activities within the bakery site.
Manage and direct the production department by ensuring efficient production processes with high-quality output.
Lead, motivate, and support a skilled team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment.
Lead and oversee the budgeting, expenditure, reporting, and planning in the department.
Report production performance and financial performance KPIs to the COO.
Ensure the effective and efficient use of all new capital investment projects /machinery.
Continuously improve factory processes to advance product quality and meet the set standards and customers’ requirements.
Implement and develop a comprehensive maintenance program for the bakery.
Oversee the warehouse department, managing goods in and goods out.
Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations.
Direct line management of 5 team members and indirect line management of all bakery operators

Requirements
5+ years’ manufacturing experience – factory experience is highly desirable
Proven experience in a managerial role within manufacturing, preferably food sector.
Strong understanding of production processes, KPI’s, and operational management.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Proficiency in budgeting, planning, and reporting.
Excellent Excel skills.
Demonstrate the ability to grow in a fast and dynamic manufacturing company.
