Overview:
We are a Family Assessment Centre and we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Social Worker to join our team. The current post has developed due to the expansion and development of the organisation and Registration with Ofsted as the Registered Manager will be an essential part of the role.
As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the assessment, interventions and safeguarding of the vulnerable families in our care.
We offer a range of assessment models including PAMS, ParentAssess and CUBAS

Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the Family Assessment Centre ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
- Supervise and support Social Workers undertaking Parenting Assessments in partnership with families in the centre
-Ensure that professional relationships are built, maintained and communication is continuous and fluid
- Develop and implement care plans for families and ensure that their individual needs are met
- Supervise and support staff members, providing guidance and training as needed
- Coordinate with h professionals and external agencies to ensure comprehensive care plans and placement plans are created for residents
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to resident care and facility operations
- Foster a positive, therapeutic and supportive environment for residents, their families, and staff members
- Implement policies and procedures to maintain a safe and secure environment for all
- Monitor budgetary constraints and manage resources effectively
Skills:
- Proven experience in working in Safeguarding
- In-depth knowledge of safeguarding, support and intervention
- Undertake and supervise Social Workers undertaking parenting assessments
-Completing parenting assessments in line with Court directed timescales
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in developing care plans, placement plans and ensuring their implementation
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and documentation requirements
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and make sound decisions
