Family Information Development Worker
This is an exciting opportunity to support our Family Information team.
Our Family Information service provides clear and accessible information to parents, carers, families and front-line staff through websites, publications, social media platforms and by telephone.
We are looking for a Development Worker who can:
lead/supervise our small Family Information team to ensure that the service meets the statutory obligations as defined in the legislative requirements and national standards, focused on the Children Act 2004, the Childcare Act 2006 and the Children and Families Act 2014.
ensure the service provides clear and accessible information to parents, carers, families and front-line staff through websites, publications, social media platforms and by telephone.
help parents and carers (particularly vulnerable families) to understand the benefits of high-quality childcare and their entitlements to universal and extended childcare.
liaise with all relevant local/national groups and organisations concerned with early years, childcare and family services, with a view to promoting open and clear communication and the reciprocal exchange of information.
All members of our team work flexibly using a hybrid approach, though we do have some days where the team comes together in the office.
