Our client is a renowned multi-service law firm committed to access to justice. Throughout their network of offices, they have built a reputation nationally for delivering exceptional results for their clients and are looking for a Family Lawyer to join the team. They are a multi-office, multi-service Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners firm recognised for excellence in a variety of legal fields.
As the Family Lawyer, you will
- Work on cases relating to Family Law and related issues
- Proactively network and create new business
- Work proactively independently on caseload
- Prepare cases from initial inception to the conclusion of the case
- Undertake own advocacy when required
- Work of publicly funded cases
- Any other such matters as required
Skills and Experience required for the role of Family Lawyer
- Would suit a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years of experience
- Must have experience in the following areas of Family law - Care proceedings, PLO matters, domestic abuse, divorce and financial matters, private child law, general family disputes, cohabitation disputes, occupation orders, and non-molestation
- Have strong organisational skills
- Have the ability to work under pressure
- Fast and accurate typing skills and spelling
- Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills.
