Job Description
The Family Solicitor will work closely with the Partner in the York office and get involved in a range of work and responsibilities including;
- Dealing with a caseload of privately funded Family law including matrimonial finance and divorce
- Supporting a junior team member
- Manage caseloads efficiently and professionally, ensuring client satisfaction
- Represent clients in court proceedings when necessary
- Participate in business development activities to grow the firm's client base
- Work collaboratively with the rest of the legal team
- Stay updated with changes in family law and legal practice
The Successful Applicant
The successful Family Solicitor should have:
- A passion for Family law work
- A background ideally dealing with privately funded family law including divorce, matrimonial or children work
- Ties to York
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong negotiation and advocacy skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
