We are currently seeking an ambitious Family Solicitor to join their team at the Stroud office. This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with at least 1 year PQE to play a key role in developing the Family department's offerings in the Gloucestershire region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring efficient and competent completion of work.
- Contribute to the drafting of content for legal updates and actively seek out business development opportunities through conference attendance and networking events.
- Supervise junior colleagues, assisting in their development and offering support as required.
- Deliver a high-quality service to our clients, maintaining positive business relationships and ensuring the firm is easily accessible.
Person Specification:
- Qualified Solicitor with a Minimum of 1 year PQE in a Family department.
- Demonstrable experience and knowledge of legal aid systems and advocacy.
- Experience in supervision or a willingness to take on supervisory responsibilities.
- Proficient in using data management systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite.
- Adaptable communicator with the ability to handle sensitive matters with professionalism and courtesy.
- Panel membership is advantageous.
