About the role
As a Family Worker, you will lead on the recruitment, training, deployment and supervision of a team of volunteer Family Coaches across the service.
With this team, you will deliver the Foundations of Family programme which aims to provide loved ones with a toolkit to increase understanding and promote resilience and wellbeing. You will also provide individual support to family members accessing the service.
You will be responsible for delivering an effective Family Support provision that helps to achieve a range of priority outcomes across health, social care, and broader community and wellbeing agendas.
About you
- You have some experience of supporting others in a person-centred way but we will provide you with the knowledge and training you need to work with family members and loved ones.
- You are a problem solver who likes to see things through to the end.
- You have good interpersonal and listening skills.
- Patience and resilience come naturally to you, as this role can be emotive.
- Above all, you will be enthusiastic and have a genuine desire to support people to transform their lives.
