As FC (Finance Director Designate) you will take full responsibility for all financial aspects of the company's group of businesses. This involves analysing financial performance, being part of the BOD and advising the Directors on all findings and being part of the team to implement any recommendations to improve profitability within all businesses in the group. Your key duties and responsibilities will include:
Responsibility for supporting the Finance Manager and Finance team in all aspects of the day-to-day accounting functions.
Responsible for the relationships with key financial stakeholders i.e. banks, auditors, finance companies etc.
Responsible for managing the cash within all businesses in the group tightly.
Be part of the BOD, supporting and helping to provide accurate and timely financial information to support business growth and support with strategic growth of all group businesses.
Responsible for ensuring that the Finance Team produce accurate and timely management accounts and relating KPI reports monthly for BOD meetings.
Responsible for supporting the businesses through growth and change by co-ordinating with Corporate Finance, Taxation, Equity and Acquisitions.
Ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met.
Ensure that the annual audited accounts are produced in a timely and accurate manner and also lodged with Companies House.
Responsible for production of Annual Budgets, Forecasts and Planning.
Support and take responsibility where required for business projects to support the growth and profit improvement of the businesses.
Ad hoc project work as required.
Responsible for helping the business to identify opportunities for improvement as part of our business and quality strategy. Also, to flag up any risks to our QMS from the operations you carry out.
Be involved with and support any audits within your department and comply with all internal/external audit resources and certification bodies.
The need for flexibility is required and the job holder is expected to carry out any other related duties that are within the employee's skills and abilities whenever reasonably instructed.
