Accounts Controller- Location: Ipswich Outskirts
- Salary Range: £40,000-£45,000 per annum
- Job Type: Full-time
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Controller to oversee all accounting operations within our dynamic company. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, this role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring the smooth running of all accounting functions.
Day to Day of the role:- Oversee accounting areas including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, cash management, and financial reporting.
- Maintain and update procedures and systems for revenue and expense control.
- Collaborate with Auditors for end-of-year accounts and work closely with the Controller for group accounts.
- Prepare monthly cash flow statements and handle VAT returns.
- Manage Forex contracts and serve as Credit Manager, liaising with Credit insurers.
- Administer pension contributions for the government pension scheme.
- Review and post daily invoicing, update sales reports, and engage with customers for payment collection.
- Process daily deposits and credit memos, review and post daily vouchers, and manage monthly payment runs.
- Strong knowledge of Dynamics and Sage accounting systems.
- Highly skilled in financial and numerical data management.
- Proficient in Excel and competent in MS Word.
- Exceptional attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Excellent work ethic with a willingness to work necessary hours.
- A minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
