Field Service Engineer - Midlands
Carbon60 are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer to join one of our global-leading engineering clients at their service centre in Birmingham and to carry out work around the Midlands.
The purpose of this role is to carry out various removal and installation activities on customer sites whilst maintaining positive relationships with customers and sub-contractors.
Salary: £17.99 p/h + Company Van + Overtime (Circa £35,000 p/a)
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 07:45 - 15:45 Mon - Thurs, 07:45 - 15:15 Friday.
Responsibilities (But not limited to):
- Remove and install various electromechanical equipment such as: AC & DC Electric Motors, Generators, Alternators, Pumps and Gearboxes
- Complete various analysis and reports such as vibration and thermographic analysis and completing reliability and condition monitoring reports.
- Maintain and uphold customer relationships and representatives including ship surveyors and superintendents.
- Undertake/lead site labour and sub-contractors on customer site when necessary.
Requirements:
- A solid technical background in electromechanical engineering - possessing and electrical/mechanical engineering qualification or recognised apprenticeship
- Sound technical understanding around AC/DC Motors, Generators, Alternators, Pumps and Rotating Equipment (Fitting)
- Full UK Driving license and UK Passport required
- CSCS Card and Water Industry/ Construction experienced (Preferred, but not essential)
