Field Service Engineer

Our client is looking for a dedicated and skilled Field Service Engineer to play a pivotal role in the maintenance and operation of their sites. This role requires travel around the Southwest of England region. (Max 1.5hours from Cornwall/Exeter).

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Deployment and Integration (Service Deployment Engineer): Execute on-site installations, ensuring seamless deployment and integration of our advanced equipment and systems.
• Maintenance and Support (Field Maintenance Engineer): Conduct preventive maintenance procedures to guarantee optimal performance. Provide timely on-site support and troubleshooting to address client concerns, leveraging remote diagnostics tools when needed.
• Customer Interaction (Customer Service Engineer): Collaborate closely with clients to understand their unique needs, offer technical guidance, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Documentation (Engineering Service Representative): Maintain accurate and detailed records of service activities, contributing to the development of comprehensive reports for future reference.
• Collaboration (Field Operations Specialist): Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance product functionality, service efficiency, and overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• At least five years of field experience in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems for industrial sites.
• Specific field experience in the photovoltaic business.
• Proficient in MS Office tools with a strong service-oriented approach.
• Valid and clean car driving license with a focus on field operations.
• NVQ Level 3 electrical certification with a proven track record in fieldwork.
• HV Experience (Desirable) for service enhancement and engineering expertise in high voltage applications.

Flexibility:

• Travel (Site Service Engineer): Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.
