- Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of equipment.
- Train new and existing customers on hardware and software maintenance procedures.
- Diagnose technical errors and determine appropriate solutions.
- Share knowledge and insights with team members to enhance expertise.
- Document service actions according to industry standards.
- Manage spare parts requests and ensure timely delivery to customers.
- Assist in sales and service consultations, providing technical expertise.
- Support machine operations at events and exhibitions.
- Foster positive relationships with customers through attentive support and service.
Candidate Requirements for the Field Service Engineer:
- 1 year of related experience in mechanical engineering, laser cutting/ bending technology preferred
- Having a basic understanding and knowledge of PLC/ CNC - systems and mechanical engineering
- An engaged and courageous personality with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- The willingness to build sustainable relationships with colleagues and supervisors based on honesty and empathy
- Ability to or willingness to learn how to work with a DMS, CRM (Microsoft Dynamics), LMS (SAP Success Factors) and Microsoft Office
- Readiness to travel approximately 50 % or related field
- Driving license
