Field Service Engineer - Domestic Ventilation - Birmingham
Package: £27,000 - £30,000Generous Bonus Scheme: Approx. £25,000 Per Annum
Hours: 42.5 hours, Monday to Friday (7:30 am - 4:30 pm), overtime options of double pay
Role Overview: As a Field Service Engineer specializing in Domestic Ventilation, you will play a vital role in installing and servicing ventilation systems for residential and private clients. From inspecting and repairing to replacing existing systems, your expertise will contribute to improving air quality and the lives of residents.
Responsibilities:
- Perform installations of Domestic Ventilation products.
- Conduct inspections, repairs, and replacements of ventilation systems.
- Prioritize exceptional customer care and satisfaction.
- Manage stock levels for seamless job execution.
- Ensure equipment and vehicles are well-maintained.
- Document work through fit sheets, photos, and certificates.
- Follow safety protocols outlined in risk assessments.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of domestic electrical experience.
- 18th edition qualification or equivalent (desirable).
- C&G Level 2 or domestic installer qualification (desirable).
- Familiarity with core drills and sealed unit installations (training provided).
- Proficiency in installing ventilation fans, PPS, PIVs, HRUs, ductwork, etc.
- Full clean UK driving license (manual).
