Harmonic are delighted to be partnering with one of the UK's most successful PE Backed Marketing Agency groups with their search for a Group Financial Accountant/Group Finance Manager.

Turning over around £30mill, the agency is based in Central London and specialises in Digital/Social Media Marketing & Public Relations. They are a non-corporate, exceptionally friendly, and ambitious team looking to strengthen their finance function.

The business has realised there are some key areas of general compliance which need addressing and are looking to centralise this function so that they are reflective of the current environment; lean, efficient, and streamlined. As a result, they are looking for an ACA qualified accountant with around 1-3 years' industry experience interested in joining a scaling company where you will get to make an extensive amount of consequential changes for the business, many in the short-midterm.

The Role:

• Audit management
• Ownership of the group multi-currency consolidation
• Improve and implement robust financial controls
• Leading the Group Financial reporting
• Compliance reporting, corporate tax returns, VAT & payroll taxes
• Leading complex consolidations implementing new procedures
• Draw in all compliance around the group, streamlining process as much as possible
• Negotiate with external advisors, tender process with businesses offering global support for compliance finding cost efficiencies
• Communicate accounting issues with auditors at partner level
• Act as a proactive business partner to identify opportunities for enhancing transfer pricing effectiveness and efficiencies
• Constant lead and 'go to' technical specialist for all improvement & efficiencies implementation

What We're Looking For (Essential Skills):

• ACA Qualified with 1-3 years PQE working in industry
• Strong Excel knowledge
• Excellent communicator, and a proactive self-starter
• Ability to work well individually as well as within a team
• A desire to grow your career as the company scales

Bonus Skills:

• Creative Agency or Media experience
• PE experience
• Experience with systems such as NetSuite or Paprika

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + industry leading benefits

Location: Central London / Hybrid

Start Date: ASAP (can wait for 3-month notice periods)
