Are you a Field Service Engineer based in Scotland looking for an exciting new role?

Operating globally, with a HQ in Surrey, my client develop temperature, pressure and flow instrumentation and measurement equipment for a variety of industries including Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petro-chemical, Marine applications and Defence.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for undertaking the installation, commissioning, servicing, calibration, fault finding and repairing or replacement of components and equipment on all contracts and specialist projects.
You will carry out routine maintenance of equipment and systems using specialist test equipment.

Ideally this position will be based in Scotland, covering from Carlisle to Glasgow.
The successful applicant can be based anywhere in Scotland, Scottish Border or North of Yorkshire but must be able to cover the Scotland area.
Overnight stays will be required.

Key skills and experience required for Field Service Engineer:

• Proven experience with in Service Engineering role as well as worked within factory environment


• Relevant industry experience in a highly pressurised, intrinsically safe, hazardous environment i.e.
  Instrumentation, process control, automation, oil & gas, petro-chemical, nuclear etc.


• Strong Electrical and Mechanical experience


• Plant maintenance/fault finding experience


• Ideally qualified in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline


• Currently holds or able to obtain SC clearance.
