Responsibilities:
- Lead or participate in the installation and service of Diesel & Gas Generators.
- Responsible for carrying out Generator activities, PPM, Fault Finding, Repairs and Additional Works on our clients Generators nationwide.
- Interface with other engineers and customers and report to the Director of Operations.
- fault finding and repairs on DC control circuits.
- Deliver generator applications - Motor starting and variable voltage.
- Carry out load bank testing.
- Deliver no break sync applications - grid lock.
- Telemetry installation in field
- Basic electrical fault finding < 1500v dc and <1000v ac.
- Low voltage maintenance, isolation
- ATS & Gen Controller maintenance
Experience
- Must have knowledge and experience of working with Generators & switchgear etc.
- Advantageous to have knowledge of and experience working with electrical /operational safety rules and standards.
- Good interpersonal, intercultural and negotiation skills - position requires teamwork across disciplines and organisational boundaries, identifying and managing internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to be proactive, work independently, deliver your own ideas and results, and perform high quality work within tight deadlines.
- Commitment to participating in Continuous Improvement / Lean Transformation.
- Fluency in the English Language.
- Clean drivers licence.
Salary: €60k - 70k
