Are you a mechanically-biased maintenance engineer looking for an exciting, varied role where you will be working with cutting-edge machinery, travelling all over Europe and the UK with full expenses paid as well as a company van, fuel card, flexible working hours and direct progression pathways to senior roles?

This family-run company, which originated in Germany, has expanded to over 100 employees. With growing demand, they've established their first UK branch, fostering a close-knit team of four. They specialise in bespoke machinery for the steel industry and offer ample opportunities for employee growth and skill enhancement.

In this autonomous role, you'll receive comprehensive on-the-job training in servicing and maintaining bespoke machinery for sheet metal cutting, with tasks typically divided 70% mechanical and 30% electrical. Half of your time will be spent traveling throughout the UK for on-site visits, utilizing a company van and fuel card. The other half will take you abroad to exciting projects in countries like Sweden, Germany, and Holland, with all expenses covered. This offers both the chance to explore new places and work on innovative industrial machinery.

This role would suit a mechanically-biased maintenance engineer or similar looking for full autonomy over the length of time you spend abroad. You will work flexible 8 hour days (Mon - Fri) and will be able to undertake optional overtime.

The Role:

• PPM and servicing of bespoke tools/machinery involved in the sheet metal cutting
• Site visits all over the UK and abroad
• Frequent overnight stays with full expenses paid such as flights, accommodation, travel, daily allowances, fuel card and company van.
• Flexible 8 hour days (Mon-Fri) and optional overtime.
• Full training on bespoke sheet metal cutting machinery

The Person:

• Mechanically-biased maintenance engineer
• Full Driving Licence
• Willing to travel all around the UK and abroad
• Based near Birmingham/ Midlands
