Field Service Engineer

This role is for a Field Service Engineer who is competent in completing Process Service/Maintenance work on a wide range of Process and Wastewater treatment plants across the UK.
Complete lab tests, assess and optimise plant performance, and support plant operators, by carrying out training sessions.

Ideally suited to an ambitious candidate with 5 years of experience in a similar role, those with less experience will be considered.
Pursue business opportunities; to add value to the existing plant and other plant processes where the client's technology and Engineering services can be utilised.
The role will be hybrid (Office in Bracknell / Home Office) with extensive travel required throughout the UK.

Full training and handover of all existing contracts.
Responsibilities and Duties:

• Completing Planned Preventative Maintenance/Process Servicing of wastewater systems
• Competent in varying electrical and mechanical skills; including but not limited to electrical wiring, assembly, pipefitting of varying materials, workshop skills and the use of hand/power tools
• Instrumentation fault-finding
• Process analytical testing and adjustments of plant setpoint to further optimise the operation of the plant, where applicable
• Competent in reactive breakdown works is desirable
• Completing RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statements)
• Submission of Site Reports; to include the current state of the plant, work carried out, improvements and recommendations
• Responsible of co-ordinating aftersales; chemical deliveries, consumables, spares and warranty requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Experience working with Packaged Sewage Treatment Plants
• Previous Field Service Engineer experience working with water systems essential (preferably wastewater)
• Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications desirable, recent qualified to graduate/HND or equivalent will be considered
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Confined Spaces ticket desirable
• British Water Accreditation desirable
• 18th edition wiring regulations desirable
• Valid Safety Card such as; CSCS, CCNSG, ECS or an equivalent
• Ability to communicate technical or industry specific information in an easy-to-understand format
• Product and technical knowledge of industrial process water and wastewater treatment solutions
• Ability to provide excellent customer service and care
• Ability to set their own schedule to manage and make appointments with clients.

• Salary 45k p.a. depending on experience + company benefits
