Greenfield IT are pleased to be recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer on behalf of one of the UK’s leading design manufacturers based in Shropshire.
As a Field Service Engineer, your will provide support to active customers, assisting with start-up installs, and working on upcoming projects. This hybrid role will involve extensive travel throughout the UK, with occasional international travel.
Field Service Engineer Role Responsibilities –
- Commission new systems independently or as part of a team.
- Collaborate closely with Project Engineers on project testing and functionality.
- Provide emergency Field Service for customers, including troubleshooting and repairs.
- Offer telephone, email, and other support to customer engineering and maintenance staff.
- Adhere to company service processes and guidelines.
- Identify opportunities to sell additional value-added services, spare parts, and upgrades.
- This role will be up to 60% travel across the uk/abroad.
- Strong technical skills, in electric fundamentals as well as computers
- PLC and HMI's experience required.
- Engineering training/qualification e.g. BTEC / HNC or apprenticeship trained.
- Valid UK driving licence.
