As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join their team and grow withing the business.
You will be supported by the Project Manager and the Operations Manager to carry out the service, maintenance, and installation of customers water purification equipment, both for planned visits and in response to emergency breakdown callouts. Your job will require you to work in a variety of environments ranging from Hospitals and Industrial sites to Domestic Clients. Work wear will be provided. This role can be physically demanding, and a general level of fitness is a necessity.
As a Field Service Engineer working in a busy, diverse environment you will be:
Conduct installation, commissioning, and maintenance of equipment at customer sites at regular visits
Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, providing timely and effective solutions
Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to ensure equipment reliability
Collaborate with customers to understand their specific requirements and provide appropriate recommendations
Document all service activities, including reports, service logs, and inventory management
To carry out pre-installation surveys and advise Operations Manager of any items required
Train customers on the proper operation and maintenance of our systems
Required to be on-call for one in three weekends of each month
As a Field Service Engineer, you will have the following:
Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer in similar industry
Plumbing experience necessary. Electrical experience advantageous
Good understanding of water treatment systems, including Reverse Osmosis, Water Softening Technology, and process Plant Engineering
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer sites as required
Ability to work flexible hours and handle emergency service calls when necessary
