The Ideal candidate
- A third level qualification in an engineering/IT related subject.
- Minimum 3 year's field-based experience in a technical role.
- Strong IT and network skills.
- The ability to maintain excellent technical records.
- A full clean driver's license.
- Strong interpersonal skills and be customer focused, technically competent and commercially aware with strong trouble-shooting and analytical skills.
- The ability to work alone or as part of a small team.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain various radio communication systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage the installation and commissioning of wireless communication infrastructure, adhering to project timelines and specifications.
- Collaborate closely with the Engineering Manager and cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues, identify opportunities for system improvement, and provide expert guidance on system optimization strategies.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation and records, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, actively participating in training and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
