We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as our Filling Team Leader, based at our European Head office in Gravesend, Kent.Joining us on a full time, permanent basis (Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm and Friday 7:30 – 2:00pm), you will receive a competitive salary.

As our Filling team Leader, you will be leading the Filling Operational Team to ensure maximum productivity and continuous improvement processes are adhered to.   Ensuring that the filling of lubricants and chemicals consistently deliver outstanding safety, quality, service and value to our consumers.

Responsibilities as ourFilling Team Leader are to:
 

• Owning the filling resource planning process
• Training and development of Moovers, building a flexible workforce
• Point of contact for temporary staffing agencies for hiring and performance management
• People management including absence, holiday and performance
• Compliance to Quality and SHE systems including procedures, near-miss and incident investigations, risk-assessments and customer complaints
• Adhering to Lean principles
• Develop deep process and equipment knowledge to effectively troubleshoot to deliver benchmark OEE
• Define, own and deliver continuous improvement plans
• Champion Moove behaviours

Essential Skills required of our Filling Team Leader:
 

• Experience in an operational environment for example Manufacturing or FMCG
• Experience leading manufacturing, production teams
• Good level of English and maths
• Awareness of Health and Safety in the workplace
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve with the capability to work under pressure
• Pro-active attitude

Desirable Skills

• Experience working in a LEAN environment
• Continuous Improvement experience
