AddressSalary: £40,455 to £47,583 per annum
The BFI is seeking a Fund Manager to join their Film Academy team until 31 March 2025.
The Fund Manager will manage the network of Film Academy delivery partners delivering short and specialist courses across the UK, and the Venue Partnerships programme of events for young people across the UK. They will also lead the assessment of delivery partner short and specialist course funding applications, subsequent funding awards, grant monitoring, and the evaluation of the Film Academy courses programme, and the Venue Partnerships programme.
Key responsibilities include:
- Liaise with Film Academy delivery partners and receive, log and check all grant monitoring information is submitted on time and in the prescribed formats; ensure monitoring information is inputted into the requisite CRM system in a timely fashion.
- Liaise with delivery partners to ensure that claims for funding are submitted on time and paid within the 30 day specified timeframe.
- To manage assess and check eligibility and completeness of project funding applications for both Film Academy short and specialist courses and Film Academy Venue Partnerships delivery
- Appoint external assessors where required and ensure guidelines, assessment documentation and forms are up to date and accurate.
- Manage the Film Academy budget day-to-day including: updating the master budget on a monthly basis with invoices and analysing monthly expenditure reports to support the Head of Film Academy to maintain financial controls.
We are looking for candidates who have:
- Proven experience in a project management role.
- Experience of using and maintaining a range of databases, spreadsheets and records.
- A proven track record of developing and maintaining good working relationships with partners and stakeholders
- A proven track record of promoting and supporting diversity and inclusion.
- Proven ability to maintain accurate recordkeeping, even during busy period.
