Finance Administrator

Your New Company
Hays Education are working with a local Nottingham-based education trust who are looking for a permanent Finance Administrator to join their growing central finance team. The trust prides itself on providing the best opportunities for young people and following a values-driven approach. You will be based in the trust head office, however, will regularly visit schools within the trust and have the flexibility to work from home when needed.
Your New Role
You will be working within a team of 5 as part of the central finance team, providing support to all schools within the Trust. You will help to produce financial reports, analyse month-end and year-end data, oversee the debtor\'s ledger and other administrative support. You will ensure that the processing of all operational documents meets the requirements of the Trust and wider compliance. The trust would ideally like a full-time member of staff who will work term time only + 2 weeks, however, would consider 4 days per week for the right candidate.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have prior financial experience or experience working within a trust or school. You will be fully proficient in Excel and spreadsheets, with the ability to pick up new systems easily. You will have excellent organisation, able to multitask and prioritise a busy workload. You will be a team-player, able to collaborate with a positive and enthusiastic attitude.

You will receive a NJE Grade 4 salary between £24,702 to £27,334 with a pay increase due in April 2024.
