Finance Analyst

An award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking aFinance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performingall accounting processes for their respective operations.

Your new role
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:

• Performing all accounting processes in scope for your site / customer / function, such as month-end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, while ensuring to meet all KPI requirements
• Getting to know your customer / site inside out. Acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making
• Adherence to financial processes and accurate, timely report production
• Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and highlighting any escalations
• Identifying any opportunities for continuous improvement

What you'll needto succeed

• Effective time management skills
• Clear, effective communicator with strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Customer-facing experience
• Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
• Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry - desirable
• Part Qualified or studying towards a qualification such as ACCA - desirable
