SalaryElevation Accountancy and Finance are delighted to be working with a successful business in the Barnsley area as they look to recruit a Finance Analyst into their friendly finance function.
Reporting directly into the Finance Business Partner the responsibilities of the role will be:
- Partner the central function teams to provide timely and accurate analysis and information to support business decisions
- Help create central P&L budget / quarterly forecasts, demonstrating an understanding of the key drivers, to inform local operational and strategic decision making
- Identify, challenge and proactively satisfy internal customer requirements to provide information, interpretation and insight to the business and site teams to promote effective delivery of central performance
- Continuously review business practices to make recommendations for changes which will enhance cost efficiency
- Support the Finance Business Partner in all areas of financial control and governance
Person Specification:
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Numerate and literate
- Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Experience of working under pressure with tight deadlines
