Supports larger customers/clients and may lead functional projects under infrequent supervision. Developing a detailed knowledge of the work function.
- Review earnings for accuracy and completeness
- Prepares and presents monthly/quarterly trading earnings
- Prepares monthly commentary explaining key drivers for profit and losses
- Provides accounting support for complex transactions, new business, and changes to existing business
- Reviews and reports on valuation of derivatives with forward month pricing (MTM Valuation)
- Primary finance contact for trading
- Provides support to Finance Shared Service teams to resolve complex items
- Perform SOX controls and other internal controls
- Leads or participates in projects to support business, IT and finance and accounting related changes
- Experience in financial analysis and reporting
- Previous experience in the oil and gas industry is preferable but not essential
- SAP knowledge preferred but not essential
- Strong analytical skills
- Good knowledge of internal controls
- Self-starter capable of managing routine and ad hoc workload with strong time management and prioritization skills
- Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders from both financial and non-financial backgrounds across different countries
