Description
Finance apprentice in the Central DBU Finance team with 4 year rotation around key roles with in the team. Experience in Accountants Payable, Inventory management, Leasing, Fixed Assets and Expense reporting. Supporting reconciliation process and month end close. AAT qualification or equivalent supported.
Key responsibilities
- Basic Month end journals to support with close and develop understanding
- Basic Reconciliations Responsible for smaller site in the AP process
- Supporting the completing of inventory reporting
- Responsible for Metric packs Supporting project work
Additional Responsibilities Unique to this Position
- Understanding some fundamental areas of the Financial balance sheet Supporting standardization of work
- Working collaboratively across multiple business functions
- Rotation of roles to ensure good level experience to aid with qualifications
Qualifications
Qualifications and Competencies
- Support offer to obtain AAT or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above 3 A levels Grade A-E are desirable but not essential
- Good listening and communication skills are essential
- Ability to work as part of a team as well as working on your own
- Previous work experience or voluntary work is desirable
- Able to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) confidentially
- The desire to work in a professional office environment and to start your career is essential
