We are delighted to be working with a family run Haulage and Warehousing business currently looking for a Finance Assistant to assist in a busy finance department providing accounting and administrative support to the Finance Manager
Skills
- Competent in using Sage 50 payroll and Sage 50 accounts.
- Accurate and likes working with numbers.
- Good Microsoft Office Skills with a focus on Excel
- Good organisational skills and detail orientated.
- Good communicator to be able to liaise with Customers and Suppliers

- Customer pricing & Invoicing
- Quotations
- Issuing Purchase orders
- Purchase invoice processing
- Sub-contractor confirmations
- Supplier Payment Runs
- Weekly payroll
- Wage related personnel
- Year-end payroll
- Pensions & Legislation
- Matching customer payments
- Weekly / Monthly credit control reporting
- Reconciliations of Bank Accounts, Visa Bills & Petty Cash
- Assisting with preparation of paperwork for month end accounts.
