Finance Assistant

Your new companySME based Melksham business

Your new roleYou will be a conscientious and meticulous individual, working closely with the Finance Manager, you will support the production of accurate and timely management accounts. The role is primarily data entry with the scope to develop in the future as well as funded study package available to aid progression.Main duties being, but not limited to:

• Credit Control
• Credit Cards
• Reconciliation
• Purchase ledger
• Sales ledger
• Petty Cash

What you'll need to succeedAlthough accounts experience is desirable, it is not essential.Key skills required:

• Ideally part qualified AAT, or other recognised bookkeeping or accounting / qualified by experience
• Strong communication skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong numeracy skills
• Knowledge of Quickbooks desirable
• Strong IT skills, working knowledge of Word/Excel or Numbers/Pages
