We are on the lookout for an account assistant, who has experience in a fast-paced environment and looking for their new opportunity.
The right candidate must have experience in -
- Proactively work through task lists provided and then feedback to team with any queries.
- Query resolution on both sales and purchase invoices, following up with Suppliers and Customers. Seeing issues through to completion.
- Strong reconciliation skills - specifically understanding the nature of how reconciliation differences occur and the correct application to resolve.
- Being able to build payment run suggestions based on balancing urgency and priority of Suppliers chasing.
- Managing inboxes and calls - our office mans the front line of the telephone system and multiple inboxes, so should be able to adapt approach and understand how departments work together in the business.
- Good foundational understanding of accounts processes and terminology - including the importance of processes - a good 'working' knowledge.
- Process driven and detail orientated. Preference on someone who enjoys the housekeeping of systems and data tidiness.
- Credit control, accounts payable and receivable is a must.
