SalaryOur client, a rapidly growing out of home agency based in the heart of the West End, has an opening for an experienced proactive Finance Assistant to join their finance team on a 1-year maternity cover contract starting in July.
Reporting to the Financial Controller as the Finance Assistant your key responsibilities will be:
- Managing the Accounts Payable function using Microsoft Navision (NAV) and bespoke media system
- Reconciling the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all Invoices and payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Posting and reconciling intercompany invoices
- Noting any supplier prepayments
- Issuing POs where required to suppliers
- Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data
- Dealing with supplier queries
- Setting up new suppliers on NAV
- Verifying bank details with all new suppliers
- Processing invoices and following up with suppliers and partners as needed
- Assist in company audits
- General administrative duties where required, e.g. scanning and filling
About you:
Ideally you will be part qualified (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) along with previous financial experience gained within the Media / Marketing / Advertising sector, along with having advanced excel skills.
