We are thrilled to be working with our Bournemouth based client who are in a growth phase and offering a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their fast paced business.
This position initially provides the flexibility of remote working, with a transition to a hybrid working pattern later in 2024.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:
- Day to day bookkeeping
- Purchase ledger invoice checking and inputting
- Bank reconciliations
- Sales invoicing
- VAT returns
- Assisting the preparation of management information and reporting
- Chasing overdue payments via phone and email
- Accruals and Prepayments
- Proving ad-hoc support to the finance and operations teams
The successful Finance Assistant will require the following skills and experience:
- Driven to meet deadlines and targets, demonstrating a strong desire to succeed
- Enthusiastic and passionate about the Finance sector
- Collaborative team player, with effective communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic and fast paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- AAT Level 3, desirable but not essential
