Finance Assistant

We are thrilled to be working with our Bournemouth based client who are in a growth phase and offering a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join their fast paced business.
This position initially provides the flexibility of remote working, with a transition to a hybrid working pattern later in 2024.
Key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:

• Day to day bookkeeping
• Purchase ledger invoice checking and inputting
• Bank reconciliations
• Sales invoicing
• VAT returns
• Assisting the preparation of management information and reporting
• Chasing overdue payments via phone and email
• Accruals and Prepayments
• Proving ad-hoc support to the finance and operations teams

The successful Finance Assistant will require the following skills and experience:

• Driven to meet deadlines and targets, demonstrating a strong desire to succeed
• Enthusiastic and passionate about the Finance sector
• Collaborative team player, with effective communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic and fast paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills
• AAT Level 3, desirable but not essential
