Finance Assistant - About The Role
Reporting directly into the Finance Manager you will provide support to the wider finance and operational teams. Some of the responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Production of monthly web account reports
- Daily bank reconciliations
- Weekly bank charge journals
- Posting invoices
- Updating supplier invoice details
- Preparing for monthly payment runs
- Updating cash books
- Maintaining staff milage and fuel card usage reports
- Staff expenses
The successful Finance Assistant will:
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and a strong interest in advancing a career in accounts
- Be a self-motivated individual capable of taking the initiative, whether working independently or as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills and be able to maintain good working relations, both internal and external
- Be organised and task driven with the ability to manage time efficiently
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Have experience of working in an accounts based position (desirable)
