We have an exciting opportunity for a Finance Assistant to join our Finance team. This role will be key in delivering a varied range of activities to enable the smooth and efficient running of the finance team.

The Finance Assistant will
• Deliver administration related to race days including items such as running reports, completing submissions to external agencies, processing prize money invoices and accounting for specific types of ticket sales.
• Provide a central resource to all the Management Accountants to support in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Be the point of contact for standard reports across all racecourses in order to co-ordinate the information in one place.
• Be the point of contact between all racecourses and the finance centre for facilitating ad hoc payments, new supplier set ups and general finance related forms.
• Assist with fleet and asset management including setting up and owning the master database relating to vehicles to capture asset and financing details.
• Have ownership of routine processes such as submission of annual returns to Companies House, maintenance of the gift and bribery act registers, management of credit card payments with correct account coding of the related costs, office banking
About you
• Technically savvy with excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• Capable of checking and using controls to balance between systems.
• Experienced in preparation of account and reconciliations.
• Outstanding attention to detail who thrives in delivering to deadlines.
• Hyper organised and proactive with an ability to prioritise own workload.
