Groomfield Recruitment are currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our ever-growing client based in Alrewas, Staffordshire. We are looking for individuals that are attentive and precise, if you are looking to develop your skills and are looking to join a friendly finance department, this may be the opportunity for you.
Salary: £20,000-£25,000 (dependent on experience)
Working hours: Days (Flexible hours to be discussed)
Location: Onsite in Alrewas
Duties include:
- Customer purchase order coordination, dealing with order processing
- Responding to queries efficiently and accurately
- Purchase ledger and monitoring supplier accounts
- Building strong relationships with customers and suppliers
- Managing financial transactions, reconciliations and detailed records
- Credit control support
- Assist in achieving targets and hitting company deadlines
- Working on a inhouse fleet software system
- General adhok administration tasks
- Coordinating the receipt and distribution of traffic offences
The Ideal Candidate:
- Positive, resolutions-based attitude
- Strong affinity for teamwork
- An Accountancy qualification and previous experience in a fast-paced finance office
- Great computer skills- Microsoft Excel
- Great communication skills, through both verbal and written communication
- An eagerness to learn and develop
- Great organisational skills with and work ethic
- Proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiar with accounting software or similar
