We are now looking to recruit a Finance Assistant to join our clients busy Accounts department on a ongoing temporary basis.
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable
Checking invoices match the purchase order and delivery note
Check prices on invoices match ordering systems
Sort out internal queries with Stores/Purchasing department
Sort out any invoice queries with Suppliers
Process invoices onto Purchase Ledger
Reconciliation of Supplier Statements
Timely payment of suppliers by BACS
Accounts Receivable:
Sales invoice processing
Processing of credit notes for customers
Allocation of receipts to customer records
Taking of over the phone payments
