Your new role
- Working in a public sector organisation in Newcastle
- To finish the balance sheet reconciliations for the accounts of the organisations multiple sites across the North East.
- Payroll journals for the Northeast Region these should be prepared and posted
- To create a monthly schedule of rent, rates, and service accruals and prepayments, as well as to balance the company\'s suspense accounts.
- Process and keep track of bills for Flexible Benefit Ledgers.
- To guarantee compliance with statutory tax obligations, such as filing VAT returns, P11d, and PSA.
- To keep an eye on all additions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation made to the company\'s fixed asset register.
What you\'ll need to succeed
- Experience with account administration and general ledger reconciliation Experience with transactional processing, such as journal entries, payment processing, and cash allocation
- Proficiency in utilising Oracle, JDE, or additional ERP finance systems.
- AAT certification, or comparable
- Possessing Microsoft Excel experience
- Knowledge or expertise in operating within a Finance Shared Service Centre.
- Proficiency in collaborating in a group setting.
- Outstanding focus on detail and proficient organising abilities.
- Dedicated to ongoing improvement, with a strong emphasis on customer service and effective communication abilities.
